Neuromodulator Treatment

Overview

Neuromodulating injectables are the treatment of choice to treat wrinkles, folds and fine lines on the forehead and around the eyes.

Facial lines, wrinkles, and creases created by facial expressions can leave a mark and make you look old, tired, or even angry. We use the neuromodulator treatment with men and women looking to refresh their upper face.
Neuromodulator treatment contains minuscule amounts of the botulinum toxin, which serves to relax the face muscles responsible for wrinkles and lines. The treatment does not disrupt the ability to make natural facial expressions, but it does diminish the lines and creases that often accompany them.

Are You a Candidate for a Neuromodulator Treatment?

When your facial lines become deeply-etched in your brow or “crow’s feet” develop at the sides of your eyes, you are probably a good candidate for neuromodulator treatments.
Typical signs of aging to treat with neuromodulator injectable treatments are:
  • The lines between the eyes (glabella)
  • Forehead wrinkles
  • “Crow’s feet”

The neuromodulator treatment

The neuromodulator rejuvenation treatments are administered by our trained healthcare professionals to ensure the most sophisticated results possible. The procedure requires about fifteen minutes and is practically painless. A topical numbing cream may be applied for additional comfort.
The results of a typical neuromodulator treatment last for about three to four months. It is recommended that patients return to our clinic after this period for a follow-up treatment.

The Recovery Process

You can return to work or other activities immediately after the procedure. We recommend that you avoid lying down for several hours, and restrain from vigorous physical activities for 24 hours.
In rare occasions, you may experience a slight redness at the injection site for a couple of hours. As the days pass, the treated areas become smoother and the lines and creases fade to being almost invisible.
