Arm Lift

Overview

Internationally recognized for our personalized care and amazing results.

Aging or significant changes in weight can affect the appearance of your upper arms. Men and women can develop laxity or skin excess which cannot be addressed via dieting or exercise. No matter how much time you spend at the gym, restoring the youthful tone and shape of your upper arms may be an unachievable objective. Skin laxity, loss of muscle tone, and wrinkles form with age or after serious weight loss and you might become self-conscious of wearing sleeveless tops or a bathing suit.
An arm lift, or brachioplasty, is a surgical procedure which will reshape your upper arm to offer dramatic and long-lasting results and help regain self-esteem and bring back the sleeveless fashions once again.

Are You a Candidate for an arm lift?

Typically, patients who have undergone serious weight loss or suffer excess skin due to aging are able to benefit from this treatment.
You will see stunning effects on your upper arms after the procedure and regain your self-esteem and confidence when wearing those fashionable sleeveless garments.

Arm Lift approaches

Liposuction

When the corrections require treating isolated areas of fat and tissue, while skin laxity is still low, arm liposuction alone will produce satisfactory results. Tiny incisions are made along the length of the area to treat and a narrow liposuction tube will be inserted to remove the extra fatty tissue and create a smoother contour.

Limited-incision brachioplasty

If deterioration is more advanced yet only small corrections are required, a less invasive surgery can be done. A short incision hidden in the armpit is done to extract extra tissue and skin while scar signs of the intervention remains hardly visible to the naked eye.

Standard Brachioplasty

A standard arm lift surgery is recommended for those who have a larger amount of skin and fatty tissue that needs to be removed. Patients should note that there is a longitudinal incision made in the inner portion of the upper arm. Special care is taken to minimize post-operative scarring through meticulous suturing techniques and diligent precision.

Extended brachioplasty

For the most severe cases where significant corrections are needed, the standard brachioplasty incision is extended across the arm pit to address a bigger problematic area. Our board-certified, experienced surgeons always place the arm lift surgery incisions where scars will be least visible during most movements. In individuals with normal wound healing, these scars heal to precise thin lines which are easily ignored at sight.
