Harmonie Breast Augmentation options

Implant Size

While teardrop-shaped silicone implants are always used for this surgery, the size of the implant can vary based on the specifications of the individual patient. We can help you visualize what various sizes and profiles will look like to help you make the right choice for you.

Incision Placement

Incisions for the HARMONIE Breast Augmentation might include placement within the breast crease, around the areola, or in the armpit. No matter which incision you choose, we will take all the necessary steps to minimize visible scarring after your procedure by placing the incision within the natural lines of the skin and using suturing techniques that will promote the best healing of the incision after surgery.

During the procedure a pocket will be created between the fascia and the pectoral muscle, in which your implant will be inserted. Once the implant is in the correct position, the incision will be closed and the augmentation process will be completed.

The Recovery Process

Because the pectoral muscle is not disturbed during a HARMONIE Breast Augmentation, recovery is usually faster and more comfortable than with other techniques. Our patients typically experience minimal discomfort after this surgery, and oral pain medication is sufficient to keep you pain-free during the first few days after surgery. The breasts also tend to heal faster during this time frame, which means you will likely be back to regular activities within a matter of days.

Despite the shorter recovery after HARMONIE Breast Augmentation, your final results will be just as satisfactory and long-lasting. HARMONIE provides a smooth, natural slope to the breast, enhanced by the fascia covering the implant. The results are superior, even in women with less breast tissue. You will not have to worry about distortion to the breasts during certain activities and exercise.
