Endoscopic Facelift
What is it?
Through small incisions, hidden in the scalp, the brow shape and position can be lifted and improved through the endoscopic brow lift. This procedure is done without any scars on the skin. Also, the cheek can be lifted through these same incisions during the same procedure. When properly executed, these procedures can deliver great results that last for many years with invisible scars hidden in the scalp.
Are you a candidate for endoscopic facelift?
These procedures are recommended for those who have ptosis (sagging and heaviness) of the brow that is causing them to have a tired look or affecting there visual field because of the ´hooding´ on the sides of the eyes. It is also commonly done, with certain specific technical differences, for those who are looking to have ´foxy eyes´ or ´cat eyes´. Endoscopic cheek (midface) lift is recommended for those who have lost volume in their cheeks that are sagging and causing deep nasolabial folds.
THE PROCEDURE AT A GLANCE
These interventions are commonly done under general anesthesia or deep sedation. Hospital stay is not required. Depending on your job, you can return to work in few days if you work from home or 10 days if you work outside.
THE RECOVERY PROCESS
The recovery is virtually painless, all sutures in the scalp are removed within the first week or 10 days after the procedure. Patients need to avoid heavy exercises and sleep with the head slightly elevated for the first 4 weeks after the intervention.
