Dr. Teresa Nuñez-Villaveiran MD, PhD, FEBOPRAS, is a highly qualified Board-Certified plastic surgeon, committed to delivering personalized, state-of-the-art aesthetic results. She is much attuned to her patients´ needs, taking the time to guide them and to help them to fully understand the options that they have and the procedures that they can choose from, thus making sure that the final results comply with the needs and expectations.
Dr. Teresa Nuñez-Villaveiran graduated Medicine among the top of her class at the University of Navarra, and specialized in Pediatrics at the Hospital La Paz in Madrid. After working in the pediatric units of leading Spanish hospitals, Dr. Nuñez-Villaveiran moved to the USA where she obtained her general surgery internship qualification. She, then, specialized in Plastic and Reconstructive surgery at Hospital La Paz in Madrid, followed by a fellowship in craniofacial surgery at the Cleveland Clinic and Akron Children’s hospital.
After working in several countries, Dr. Nuñez-Villaveiran returned to Spain where she has pursued a path of continuous growth in the field of plastic, aesthetic and reconstructive surgery in diverse leading medical centers. Dr. Nuñez-Villaveiran defended her PhD project on a facial transplantation model including the temporo-mandibular joint.
She is an active member of SECPRE (Spanish Society of Plastic and Reconstructive Surgeons), a founding member of WOPRASS, and a national delegate for UEMS/EBOPRAS.
